Welcome to Oneonta Adult Education.

 
Purpose:

 

 

To assist any person sixteen years of age or older who wants to achieve success in securing a high school diploma and/or who possesses a high school diploma and has a desire to upgrade or improve writing, language, reading, math, job and life skills at any level up to college entrance.

 

Area Served: Otsego and Delaware Counties

 

Objectives:
  1. To assist in upgrading skills in reading, writing, and math.
  2. To improve the quality of the workplace through education.
  3. To build one's self-esteem and confidence.

Teachers work with small groups of 8 to 10 people. Within this group, every effort is made to individualize instruction.

 

Evaluation: Student testing assessment per NY State Education Department regulation.
